 HISTORY OF OUR COMPANY

Back in 2004, the owner acquired and started operating in Montreal a training centre for truck drivers. In order to provide hands on experience to the newly qualified drivers and to raise their chance of finding employment, the owner started to offer a “training on the road” program. Through this program, the training centre operated its 3 trucks as a broker and the drivers would actually transport goods, driving under the scrutiny of a trainer.

Very soon, a leader in LTL transportation based in Ontario showed interest and began using our brokerage/training services. And within a couple of months, following a successful start, the client requested more team drivers from the owner. So in November 2005, “Canam Drivers” got registered and started its agency activities in April 2006.

To ensure closer cooperation with its client, “Canam Drivers” was registered in Mississauga, Ontario, in 2007.

Thanks to the high quality of its services, reflected in the stability of its staff, the company grew rapidly and kept on attracting more truck drivers and more clients. By now, “Canam Drivers” has continuously met the expectations of several dedicated clients as well as of city drivers, of switch drivers, of regional drivers, of single and of team highway qualified, faithful drivers. “In order to meet the demand, the company recently began hiring general labour employees.
